weigh in wednesday tomorrow!

i’m looking for some good numbers, annnnnd INSANITY day ten complete. (sweating like a man!) time for a cold shower and catching up on pretty little liars as a reward. 

i’m feeling great:)

Sammy Sweetheart Squashetti!
Just in case you don’t want to load up on your carb intake!
Calorie 65 for 1 1/2 cup 18g carbs 4g protein 0 fat
Ingredients:
1 Spaghetti Squash
Pepper
Low Calorie Spaghetti Sauce
Directions to cook the Squash
Pierce the squash several times with a sharp knife. (Do this  especially if you’re microwaving it, or you may end up with a “Squash  Explosion.”)
bake about an hour in the oven at 375 F.
Microwave 10 to 12 minutes, then let stand for 5 minutes or so afterward to finish steaming.
Boil for half an hour or so.
Put it In a slow cooker or crock pot with a cup of water and let it cook on low all day (8 to 10 hours)
When done, cut open “at the equator”, remove seeds and pulp (I use  tongs and an oven mitt — it is HOT) and separate strands with a fork.
  7. When finished add 1/4 cup of low calorie spaghetti sauce and sprinkle with pepper for flavor

I made this today! Pros: squash is zero points, the Tomato sauce I used is organic and natural (only 50 calories for one cup!) Cons: the squash noodles have to be covered in sauce because they are very much so flavorlessSo basically it’s a guilt free two point meal yes, only TWO POINTS! Very cool:)

A lesson in portion control: always measure out one serving so as not to go over set calorie limits (as I did with my kashi) then put the food into a smaller bowl/plate. It looks like much more, and tricks the mind into thinking it’s more filling.
