took two days off:
back to my early morning run(: plus i have Mat Kearny Pandora to keep me entertained!
just checked the salad tag..
and there are pics of salads either
- drenched in dressing
- croutons, croutons, croutons
- covered in like 1 WHOLE CUP of shredded cheese.
omg, nononononono. that’s not what salads are for. stock up on veggie bits/citrus juice for flavor (fresh lemon is a personal favorite)/clean and lean protein for a filling meal.
come on guys, we’re better than that
Anonymous asked: Lost 30lbs in 14 weeks, went from having almost no muscle, to being "normal", but still have a high fat percent. Pretty much eat cleanly..how can I knock the fat % down?
wow, congrats, that’s amazing progress already. you’re definitely building a better, healthier you! here’s a few tips to help the process:
muscle is great, but getting rid of the fat takes a good amount of cardio along with the weight training. maybe you need to reevaluate your current routine, change ups can push bodies past their standard settings.
diet: those words “pretty much” may be the hold up. are you tracking your food? little bits of cheating may not seem like much at the time, but those little tastes add up. excess processed sugars and sodium may be adding to weight retention. while your progress is great, make sure you’re being completely honest about your intake (it really helps me, i track EVERYTHING even if it’s something stupid like 1 hershey kiss at work.. calories are calories).
so you’re doing great with muscle building, now it’s time to amp up cardio and clean eating for the majority of fat loss. i know that this is pretty general, but if you have any specific questions (foods/exercises) feel free to hit me up again!
talk to meeeeee!
send me asks about who you are/your progress! i want to publish all of this inspiration (spreading the fitspo love while avoiding this final project, yay!)
ugh, shark week must be coming up.
bloating. (salt/water retention, get out!)
